The following information is provided to explain exactly what you need in order to play with us.

The setup process...

Please note, if you are using Windows Vista or Window 7, when opening any of the mentions applications, you should right click and use 'Run as Administrator' to ensure all patch files are correctly installed.

1. You will first need to download and install the game;
Mirror 1: Downloads.Cnet.Com.
Mirror 2: Games.On.Net

2. Patch your game to 5.0.9.1. If the patch stops at 5.0.6 and says it cannot patch further (it should prompt you to pick 2D or 3D, pick 2D), if it does not ask you then open uotd.exe and select UO 2D. Then continue to patch your game like before.

3. Patch the client until 5.0.9.1. Hit 'Cancel' as soon as it starts patching 6.0.0 to stop patching here. You are now up to date and ready to begin. Your client should now be version 5.0.9.1.

4. Download and install our patch: HERE. It will backup any files it overwrites as .bak so you do not need to worry about losing anything!

5. Open Login.cfg (in your UO folder) and disable any current login servers by adding a ; infront of them ( ;LoginServer ... ). Then add the following line to the bottom of the file ( without a ; ) LoginServer=server.theuoproject.co.uk,999

6. To create an account, fill in the registration form on the right hand side of our website. Your account will be created and activated automatically after 5-10 minutes.

7. Now you will be able to login and create your first character. Please remember your account details and keep them secret from everyone else.

8. Please read through the player RULES section of this website before playing on this server as by creating an account with us, you are binding yourself to them.
